Akçe
Sebuah koin perak, akçe adalah mata uang utama kerajaan Ottoman. Tiga akçe sama dengan satu para. Seratus dua puluh akçe sama dengan satu kurus. Kurus pada masa kemudian menjadi mata uang utama, menggantikan akçe. Pada masa 1870-an kurus digantikan lira.
Masjid Suleiman di Istanbul disebut-sebut memakan biaya sebesar 59 juta akçe ketika dibangun pada tahun 1550-an. Jumlah ini disebut sama dengan 700 000 ducat dalam emas (kemungkinan mata uang Venesia).
