Anomochlooideae adalah subfamili dari keluarga rumput sejati Poaceae. Kelompok ini merupakan saudara dari semua rumput lainnya. Subfamili ini mencakup tumbuhan herba menahun yang tumbuh di lantai hutan yang teduh di Neotropik. Terdapat dua genus, Anomochloa dan Streptochaeta, masing-masing berada dalam tribunya sendiri.
Deskripsi
Anomochlooideae adalah herba terestrial,[3] berimpang, dan menahun dengan daun lebar yang memiliki pseudopetiola.[4]
Sitologi
Jumlah kromosom diploid dari Anomochloa adalah 2n = 36, dan jumlah kromosom dari Streptochaeta adalah 2n = 22.[4]
Taksonomi
Subfamili ini dipublikasikan secara valid pada tahun 1957 oleh Eva Hedwig Ingeborg Potztal berdasarkan karya sebelumnya dari Robert Knud Friedrich Pilger.[5] Genus tipenya adalah Anomochloa Brongn.[1][5]
