ALGOL (acronimo d'as parolas anglesas Algorithmic Language (lenguache algoritmico)) ye un lenguache de programación muit popular en as universidaz mientres os anyos 1960, pero no plegó a emplegar-se como lenguache d'utilización comercial.

Manimenos, ALGOL influyó fundament en cuantos lenguaches posteriors que sí aconsiguioron gran difusión, como por eixemplo Pascal, C y Ada.
