Curiosity ye un vehíclo robotico d'a NASA que ye explorando lo crater Gale en Marte.[1] Estió lanzau lo 26 de noviembre de 2011 y aterrizó en Marte lo 6 d'agosto de 2012 dimpués de recorrer 560 millons de km. Os suyos obchectivos son investigar o clima y la cheolochía marciana amás d'estudiar l'habitabilidat de Marte.

Especificacions

Curiosity pesa 899 kg y tien 2.9 m de largaria, 2.7 m d'amplo y 2.2 m d'altaria. Ye alimentau per un chenerador termoelectrico de radioisotopos (en anglés "Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator" u "RTG") que emplega plutonio-238.

Trastes

Curiosity conta con 17 camaras clamadas HazCams (x8), NavCams (x4), MastCams (x2), MAHLI (x1), MARDI (x1) y ChemCam (x1). Tien tamién una estación meteorolochica clamada REMS (Rover Environmental Monitoring Station), bels espectrometros clamaus APXS, CheMin y SAM, un detector de radiación ambiental y un brazo robotico dotau d'una tribaneta percutora.
