Euclides (en griego:Εὐκλείδης) tamién conoixito como Euclides d'Aleixandría (c. 365 – 275 aC) estió un matematico griego, conoixito actualment como "lo pai d'a cheometría". Naixito d'Alexandría (Echipto), vivió en tiempos de Ptolomeu I Sóter e estudió en a escuela d'Alexandría. Estió lo fundador d'a escuela de matematicas d'a ciudat.

O suyo treballo mas famoso estió los Elementos, considerato a sobén o libro de texto de mas exito d'a historia.[1][2] Se i deducen as propiedaz d'os obchectos cheometricos e d'os numeros naturals a partir d'un chicot conchunto d'axiomas. Tamién escribió sobre perspectiva, seccions conicas, cheometría esferica y teoría de numeros.
