Ferrol ye una ciudat gallega que se troba en a Provincia d'a Coruña. A suya población ye de 64.785 habitants (2021), en una superficie de 82,6 km² y una densidat de población de 817,53 hab/km².
Dende lo sieglo XVIII dica 1938 se fació servir o nombre castellanizau de El Ferrol. Dende 1938 dica 1982 se clamó El Ferrol del Caudillo.[1] En 1984 se fació oficial lo suyo nombre tradicional en gallego.
