Mac OS, que ye una abreviadura de Macintosh Operating System (Sistema Operativo de Macintosh), ye o nombre d'o primer sistema operativo de Apple ta os ordenadors Macintosh.[1] O Mac OS orichinal estió o primer sistema operativo con una interfaz grafica d'usuario en tener exito. L'equipo de Macintosh encluyiba a Bill Atkinson, Jef Raskin y Andy Hertzfeld.
