O mandil[1] (de l'arabe mandil y iste d'o latín < MANTELLU "manto"),[2] debantal[1][3][4][nota 1] u bantal[1][nota 2] ye una pieza de ropa de fayena que s'emplega pa guardar y protecher a ropa que se lieva debaixo contra las tacas y atros desperfectos. De regular va ligau arredol d'o cuello y a cintura, tot quedando por debant d'o cuerpo.
