Muixal

Un can con muixal.

O muixal[1] (d'o latín < morsale, de < musum, «muixo») u muixera[1] u morret[1] ye un elemento que s'ubica arredol d'o muixo d'un animal ta evitar que pueda fer mosigo, apaixentar-se u tan de menos ubrir a suya boca.

Os muixals son emplegaus a sobén con cans no amostratos, sigan grans u chicoz, ta evitar eventuals mosigos. Tamién pueden estar emplegadas con animals agresivos u altras situacions similars.

Con os caballos y animals similars también se fan marchar muixals, que son en ixe caso destinaus a fer que l'animal no pueda minchar mientres que ye treballando, y per tanto, no s'ature y deixe la labor suya. Ixa clase de mosels pueden meter-se directament adintro d'una capezana u enganchar-se en ixa per fuera, de maniera que l'animal queda con o muixo tapado d'una u altra manera.
