A retroinformatica (de l'anglés Retrocomputing) ye l'uso de hardware y software informatico antigo en os tiempos modernos. A retroinformatica cheneralment se clasifica como un hobby y recreación en cuenta d'una aplicación practica de tecnolochía; os suyos entusiastas a ormino replegan hardware y software poco común y valuroso por razons sentimentals.
Cualques usuarios mesmo siguen usando programas obsoletos como por eixemplo George R. R. Martin, qui escribe os suyos libros emplegando WordStar 4.0, una aplicación de MS-DOS que data de 1987.[1]
