En cheolochía se diz roca[1] a un agregau natural d'un u mes minerals que forman sobre la crosta terrestre una masa cartografiable.

Las rocas formadas por una especie mineral son "monomineralicas" y las formadas por unas cuantas especies minerals son "composadas". Las rocas no siempre son materials duros, las rocas d'archila u arena son tovas.

En a crosta terrestre bi ha tres tipos de rocas:

Las rocas son sozmesas a continos cambios por as accions d'os achents cheolochicos, seguntes un ciclo zarrau (o ciclo d'as rocas), tamién dito ciclo petrochenetico, en o cual intervienen mesmo os sers vivos.
