Sabadell ye un municipio catalán situato en a provincia de Barcelona, co-capital d'o Vallés Occidental chunto con Terrassa. La suya población ye de 201.712 habitants (2007), en una superficie de 37,89 km² con una densidat de población de 5.323,62 hab/km².
Sabadell ye situata a 190 metros dencima d'o ran d'o mar. O suyo termin municipal muga con Castellar del Vallès y Sentmenat a lo norte; con Polinyà y Santa Perpètua de Mogoda a l'este; con Barberà del Vallès, Badia del Vallès y Cerdanyola del Vallès a lo sud y con Terrassa y Sant Quirze del Vallès a l'ueste.
Estió fundada en a primera mitat d'o sieglo XI. Ya ye documentata en 1050, en un documento que charra d'un camín de Sabadell ta Sant Cugat del Vallès.
