O senabe[1] (d'o latín < sinapis) ye un apanyo elaborau a partir d'as simients d'as plantas Sinapis alba Brassica juncea u Brassica nigra.

As simients enteras son molidas, escrebazadas u escalamaixadas y se mezclan con augua, vinagre, suco de limón, vin u atros liquidos, sal y, a ormino, atros aromas y especias, pa creyar una maseta que vareya en color d'amariello brllant a pardo fosco. A simient en ella mesma tien un gusto recio, picant y bella cosa amargo, con tot y con ixo, o gusto d'os apanyos de senabe vareyan de dolza a picant.

Comunament combinada con carnes y formaches, o senabe tamién s'adhibe a entropans, hamburguesas y hot dogs. Tamién s'utiliza como ingredient en muitos adrezos, untos, sopas y adobos. Como crema u como simients individuals, o senabe s'emplega como apanyo en a cocina d'India y Bangladesh, o Mediterranio, o norte y sud-este d'Europa, Asia, America y Africa, por o que ye una d'as mas populars y amplament emplegadas especias y apanyos en o mundo.[2]
