Albert Ray (28 d'agostu de 1897, New Rochelle – 5 de febreru de 1944, Los Angeles) foi un direutor, actor y guionista cinematográficu d'Estaos Xuníos.

Biografía

Nacíu en Nueva Rochelle, Nueva York, en rematando los sos estudios, Ray foi actor teatral en representaciones de teatru de branu, y actuó nel Harlem Opera House de la ciudá de Nueva York.

Como direutor cinematográficu, empecipióse rodando na Mariña Este curtiumetraxes pa los estudios Pathé. En 1915 foi a Hollywood, onde se centró en llabores de direición, anque tamién fixo actuaciones hasta l'añu 1922. Trabayó en comedies de Ben Turpin rodaes pa Vogue Pictures, dirixendo darréu na unidá Sunshine Comedies de Fox Film Corporation.[3] Amás, en Paramount Pictures formó parte del departamentu de curtiumetraxes de la compañía.

Nos sos últimos años, ente les sos películes figuren dellos títulos western de serie B protagonizaos por Johnny Mack Brown.[4] En total, a lo llargo de la so carrera dirixó 76 filmes, actuando en 18.

Albert Ray finó en 1944 en Los Angeles, California. Foi soterráu nel Campusantu Forest Lawn Memorial Park de Glendale, California. Había estáu casáu cola actriz Roxana McGowan, cola que tuvo dos fíos y de la que se divorció más palantre.[5]
