Anguirus ye un kaiju recurrente nes películes de Godzilla, el primeru n'enfrentase al míticu monstruu (yá na segunda película d'esti, Gojira no Gyakushū). Ta basáu nun anquilosauriu y, magar que ye una creyencia común, nunca nun se diz que tenga un tamañu escomanáu pola mor de la radiación.

Habilidaes

En combate, Anguirus ye ún de los kaiju que menos superpoderes gasta, enfotándose nos pinchos, los dientes y el rau prensil p'atacar y nel cascu pa protexese. Sicasí, a lo llargo de les apaiciones demuestra otros poderes. Por casu, ye a facese bola y llanzase escontra l'enemigu, y na primer apaición tamién ye a causar estrozos nel castiellu d'Osaka con namás que'l ruxíu. N'otros medios pue echar rayos pela boca, talamente como Godzilla (na novelización de la película y el manga Ōabare Gojira), aventar pinchos d'enexía colorao (nel videoxuegu Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee), una versión cargada d'enerxía del ataque nel que se fai bola (nel videoxuegu Godzilla: Save the Earth), xirar tan rápido que se convierte nun discu afiláu que vuela (nel manga Kaijū Ō Gojira) o envelenar colos pinchos.[3]
Nel anime Godzilla: Singular Point, el monstruu tien un orixe estradimensional, un aspeutu bultablemente diferente y la capacidá de percibir el futuru cercano.
