Apodemia ye un xéneru de caparines de la familia Riodinidae.[3]
Descripción
La especie tipu ye Lemonias mormo Felder, C y R Felder, 1859, según designación posterior realizada por Stichel en 1911.[4][5]
Diversidá
Esisten 14 especies reconocíes nel xéneru, 11 d'elles tienen distribución neotropical.[6] Siquier 8 especies reportáronse na rexón Neártica[7]
Plantes güéspedes
Les especies del xéneru Apodemia aliméntase de plantes de les families Rosaceae, Polygonaceae, Papaveraceae, Krameriaceae, Rhamnaceae, Fabaceae, Malpighiaceae. Les plantes güéspedes reportaes inclúin los xéneros Prunus, Eriogonum, Eschscholzia, Krameria, Ceanothus, Prosopis, Banisteriopsis, Chamaecrista.[8][9]
