Avant Window Navigator ye una barra tipu dock que s'instala na parte baxa de la pantalla y que permite intercambiar ente les ventanes que se tengan abiertes. En llugar de representar les ventanes abiertes como botones o segmentos d'una barra, usa iconos p'amenorgar al mínimu l'espaciu ocupáu na pantalla y amestar atractivu visual. Ta disponible en llingua asturiana, (con Ubuntu)

Ye abondo asemeyada a la qu'inclúin los sistemes Mac OS, pero ésta ye una implementación llibre de la mesma idea. Pa usala necesítase tener instaláu beryl o compiz pa que funcionen les tresparencies y demás efeutos.

Tanto l'aspeutu y la funcionalidá de la ventana d'Avant Navigator puede personalizase, y los plugins y applets tán disponibles, yá seya p'amosar el progresu d'una descarga en Mozilla Firefox, o pa remanar un reproductor de música como Rhythmbox
