El DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) ye un mediu d'almacenamientu compactu.

Historia

Naz en 1995, imponse al casete VHS por meyor utilidá y definición. El tamañu va medrando dende los 2,6 Gb del DVD-RAM, pasando polos 4,7 Gb de los DVD-R DL, hasta llegar a los 8,5 Gb de los DVD+R DL y DVD-R DL d'agora. Anguaño tamién ta finando col CD, de formatu asemeyáu pero menos compactu.
