Derek Luke (24 d'abril de 1974, Jersey City) ye un actor d'Estaos Xuníos. Ganó'l Premiu Independent Spirit al meyor actor pola so actuación na película de 2002 Antwone Fisher, el so debú na gran pantalla, empobinada y producida por Denzel Washington.
Biografía
Luke nació en Jersey City (Nueva Jersey) y ye fíu de la pianista Marjorie Dixon y l'ex actor Maurice Luke. Graduóse en 1993 de la Secundaria Linden, en Linden, Nueva Jersey.
Empezó la so carrera en 1999 con un pequeñu papel como enfermeru nel episodiu White Collar de la comedia The King of Queens. En 2001 apaeció na serie de televisión de la NBC Trauma. Interpretó a unu de los miembros del grupu de Mayhem nel episodiu Mayhem at the Jam Esp de la serie televisiva Moesha (19 de marzu de 2001).
En 2008 actuó na película de guerra de Spike Lee Miracle at St. Anna, en sustitución de Wesley Snipes, quien tuvo que dexar la película por cuenta de problemes impositivos.
Interpretó a la contraparte amorosa d'Alicia Keys na so videu musical Teenage Love Affair y al de Mónica nel so videu musical So Gone. Tamién interpretó a Sean «Diddy» Combs na película Notorious (2009) y a James «Boobie» Miles en Friday Night Lights (2004). En 2011 foi parte del repartu en Capitán América: el primer vengador.
En xunu de 2011 empezó a participar de la serie televisiva Hawthorne de TNT, como Miles Bourdet, un asistente de ciruxanu de Chicago.
