La etnia fang ye d'orixe bantú y orixinaria del interior del área continental de Guinea Ecuatorial. Esta etnia atópase coles mesmes en Gabón y Camerún.
Constitúi'l 20 % de la población de Camerún y son la etnia mayoritaria en Guinea Ecuatorial, onde representen el 80 % de la población total; en Gabón son el 37 %. La so estructura social ye patrilineal y subdivídese en llinaxes, tribus, clanes y families. La relixón más practicada ente los fang ye la bwiti. Son célebres poles sos escultures tallaes y pola música que crean col intrumento del mvett. Otres etnies de Guinea Ecuatorial, minoritaries, son los bubis, ndowés, combes, bisio y bengues, ente otros.
