GCompris ye un programa de cómputu educativu con diferentes actividaes para neños ente 2 y 10 años d'edá. Dalgunes actividaes son como xuegos, pero siempres educatives. Ente otros, permite deprender y prauticar cálculos y testu, asina como aniciase nel remanamientu d'un ordenador.
Gcompris distribúise como parte principal de la suite de programes de la distribución educativa d'Edubuntu, y ta disponible en llingua asturiana.

Actividaes dientro de los siguientes temes:
- Descubriendo l'ordenador: tecláu, mur, diferentes movimientos del mur, ...
- Álxebra: tabla de memoria, enumberación, tabla de doble entrada (balance), imaxe espeyu, ...
- Ciencia: La canal, El ciclu de l'agua, El somarín, ...
- Xeografía: Alluga los países nel mapa.
- Xuegos: axedrez, memoria, ...
- Llectura: práutica de llectura.
- Animación: Enseña a los neños los principios básicos de l'animación y permíte-yos criar pequeños dibuxos animaos.
