George Chandler (30 de xunu de 1898, Waukegan (en) – 10 de xunu de 1985, Panorama City (en) ) foi un actor, actor de televisión, sindicalista y actor de cine d'Estaos Xuníos.
Biografía
Nacíu en Waukegan, Illinois, Chandler sirvió nel Exércitu de los Estaos Xuníos mientres la Primer Guerra Mundial.
Chandler tamién destacar por actuar en seis causes na serie western interpretada por Bill Williams The Adventures of Kit Carson (1951–1955), en concretu nos episodios "Law of Boot Hill", "Lost Treasure of the Panamints", "Trails Westward", "The Wrong Man", "Trail to Bordertown", y "Gunsmoke Justice". Otra serie na que trabayó como convidáu foi la protagonizada por Reed Hadley pa la CBS The Public Defender. Chandler foi Ames nel episodiu "King of the Dakotas", dientro de la serie d'antoloxía western de 1955, producida pola NBC, Frontier.
En 1954-1955 participó en dos episodios de la sitcom de la NBC It's a Great Life. Igualmente, actuó en 1956 nuna entrega de la serie western de la NBC Fury, "Joey and the Stranger". Al siguiente añu foi escoyíu pa encarnar a Clay Hunnicutt en "The Giveaway", un episodiu de la serie de Jackie Cooper pa la NBC The People's Choice.
Chandler foi en 1958 Cleveland McMasters, actuando xunto a Marjorie Main, en "The Cassie Tanner Story", un capítulu del show de NBC Wagon Train.[2] Na temporada televisiva 1960-1961 trabayó nun capítulu de la sitcom de Frank Aletter pa la CBS Bringing Up Buddy. Na temporada del añu siguiente, Chandler actuó xunto a Robert Sterling, Reta Shaw, Jimmy Hawkins, Burt Mustin, y Christine White n'otra sitcom de la CBS, Ichabod and Me.
George Chandler finó en Panorama City, Los Angeles (California), en 1985, por causa de un cáncer. Tenía 86 años d'edá.[3] Foi soterráu nel Campusantu Forest Lawn Memorial Park, en Glendale (California).
