Howrah o Haora (Bengalí হাওড়া Haoṛa) ye una ciudá industrial de la India que pertenez al distritu de Howrah, en Bengala occidental.

Ye la sede del distritu y de la subdivisión de Howrah Sadar. Asitiada na vera occidental del ríu Hoogli, ye ciudá ximielga de Calcuta. Ye la segunda ciudá más grande de Bengala occidental tanto n'estensión como en población. Les dos ciudaes tán coneutaes pela ponte de Howrah (tamién conocíu como Rabindra Setu), el Vidyasagar Setu (tamién conocíu como la segunda ponte Hooghly) y servicios de ferry ente diversos espigones de les dos ciudaes.
