Intestín

El intestín (del llatín: intestinus y esti del griegu: enteron) ye la parte visceral tubular del aparatu dixestivu que s'estiende dende'l estómagu hasta'l cursu, asitiada nel cuévanu abdominal. En mamíferos y n'humanos estremar en dos segmentos:

  • Intestín delgáu: mide ente 5 y 11 metros, pudiendo llegar a los 12 metros. Estremar en trés partes: duodenu (0,26 m), yeyuno (2,5 m) y íleon (3,5 m).
  • Intestín gordu: mide ente 1 y 1,5 metros.

Nel intestín estrayen los nutrientes de los alimentos.
