KStars ye un programa pa Linux y otros sistemes operativos de la familia Unix, que simula un planetariu. Forma parte de KDE, y ta llicenciáu baxo los términos de GPL. KStars ye software llibre, y ta disponible en llingua asturiana.
Ufre una detallada representación gráfica del cielu nocherniegu, dende cualquier llugar de la Tierra, a cualquier fecha. Inclúi más de 130.000 estrelles, 13.000 oxetos del espaciu fondu, les 88 constelaciones, miles de cometes y asteroides, asina como los ocho planetes del Sistema Solar , el Sol y la Lluna. Per otru llau, ufierta múltiple información sobre tolos oxetos estelares en forma de hipertestu. Arriendes, permite remanar telescopios y cámares CCD dende'l mesmu programa.
