LIBRIS

LIBRIS (Library Information System) ye un catálogu nacional unificáu suecu calteníu pola Biblioteca Nacional de Suecia n'Estocolmu.[1] Ufierta la posibilidá de realizar busques llibres y gratuites d'información sobro unos 6,5 millones de llibros, revistes, artículos, mapes, cartelos, música impresa, recursos electrónicos, etc.[2]

Amás de los rexistros bibliográficos, unu para cada llibru o publicación, LIBRIS tamién contién un rexistru de control d'autoridaes de persones.[3] Para cada persona hai un rexistru que rellaciona nome, fecha de nacencia y ocupación con un identificador únicu.

El desenvolvimientu de LIBRIS remóntase a mediaos de la década de 1960.[5] Magar la racionalización de les biblioteques fuera considarada un problema dende les dos décades posteriores a la Segunda Guerra Mundial, nun foi hasta 1965 cuando un comité gubernamental publicó un informe sobro l'usu d'ordenadores pa la investigación nel campu de les biblioteques.[6] La Llei de Presupuestos de 1965 creó un conseyu d'investigación de biblioteques (Forskningsbiblioteksrådet, FBR).[7] Un documentu de diseñu preliminar, Biblioteksadministrativt Information System (BAIS) asoleyóse en mayu de 1970, y les sigles LIBRIS, de Library Information System, fueron utilizaes por una subcomisión téunica que s'empecipió'l 1 de xunetu de 1970.[8] El boletín LIBRIS-meddelanden (ISSN: 0348-1891) vien publicándose dende 1972, y ta disponible online dende 1997.[9][10]
