Marwar
Marwar (मारवाड़) ye una rexón del suroeste del Rayastán, un estáu de la India. Tien parte del desiertu de Thar. La pallabra Marwar vien del sánscritu 'Maruwat' que significa 'Rexón de muerte'.[1]
La rexón inclúi los distritos actuales de Barmer, Jalor, Jodhpur, Nagaur y Pali. Llenda al norte cola rexón de Jangladesh, al nordeste con Dhundhar, al este con Ajmer, al sureste con Mewar, al sur con Godwar, al suroeste con Sind, y l'oeste con Jaisalmer.
