Los meridianos son los círculos imaxinarios máximos que pasen pelos Polos.

Ente los infinitos meridianos distínguese especialmente'l Meridianu del llugar, que ye'l que pasa pel puntu au s'alluga l'observador. Suponiendo que l'observador ta nel puntu "O", el meridianu ye'l Pn-O-Ps-Pn.
