Vista del xacimientu

Neve David ye un xacimientu del Epipaleolíticu ceo asitiáu xunto a la fastera oeste del monte de Montecarmelo, al norte d'Israel. Tuvo habitáu n'etapa más recién del Epipaleolíticu tempranu, sobre'l 15000-13000 e.C.

Güei, el xacimientu atópase a 1 quilómetru de la mariña del Mediterraneu, pero a la fin del Pleistocenu asitiábase a unos 10 o 13 quilómetros de la vera, nuna amplia llanura. Atopábase, poro, nuna zona de transición ente dos zones ecolóxiques, colos Valles Secos Estacionales del macizu caliar de Montecarmelo al este, y la llanura costera Mediterránea al oeste. Tal llocalización, con accesu a dos fuentes ecolóxiques completes, foi favorecedor pa munches comunidaes Epipaleolíticas y Neolítiques.
