Carrera actuando
En 1995, Simon Rex presentar a l'audiencia televisiva de MTV que contrató a Rex a trabayar como VJ y caltener nel aire mientres más de dos años. Poco dempués de la fama y l'ésitu de popularidá empezó a actuar y en 1999 foi escoyíu pal programa de televisión Jack & Jill , que s'emitió mientres dos temporaes. Apaeció como "Eli" na serie de televisión Felicity y fixo delles apaiciones en Baywatch, Everwood, y Summerland.[ensin referencies]
Rex apaeció en The Forsaken, Scary Movie 3, Superhero Movie, Scary Movie 4 y Scary Movie 5. Tamién actuó en National Lampoon's Pledge This! con Paris Hilton.
