El sinople, o sinoble ye un color heráldicu, tamién se llama verde.
Nos sieglos XII y XIII identificábase col color bermeyu, porque yera'l color que dexaba una tierra ferruñenta trayida de la ciudá de Sinope, n'Asia Menor, anque en dalgún momentu cambió'l significáu del términu.
Nun ta claru'l momentu del descubrimientu d'esti tinte, pues unos dátenlu en 1150 ya otros retrásenlo hasta 1400.
El términu "sinople" como sinónimu de verde utilízase namás a partir del sieglu XV. Munchos tratadistes heráldicos actuales prefieren utilizar el términu "verde" en vez de "sinople" pa evitar cualquier confusión.
Representación
Correspuéndese al color verde intenso. Pa la representación en grabaos utilícense llinies diagonales que baxen de derecha a izquierda del campu o figura (d'izquierda a derecha del observador).
