Uea ye una alta islla rocosa de Rotuma. Uea ye unu de los distintos llugares que s'atopen na mariña oeste de Rotuma. Ye la segunda islla más grande y ye la islla más alta del Grupu Rotuma con una elevación de 260 metros).[1]Acttualmente despoblada. [2][3]

L'ave endémica Rotuma myzomela (Myzomela chermesina) alcuéntrase namá na islla principal de Rotuma y Uea.[4]

Les carauerístiques xeolóxiques y los montes de sablera de la islla contribúin al so significáu nacional como se describe na Estratéxica y Plan d'Acción de Biodiversidá de Fixi.[5]
