Dinas a chymuned (comune) ar ynys Sisili yn yr Eidal a phrifddinas talaith Agrigento yw Agrigento. Yr enw Sisilieg answyddogol ar y ddinas yw Girgenti. Saif ar arfordir deheuol yr ynys.

Yng Nghyfrifiad 2011 roedd gan y gymuned boblogaeth o 58,323.[1]

Sefydlwyd Agrigento gan y Groegiaid yn 581 CC dan yr enw Akragas. Yn 406 CC, dinistriwyd y rhan fwyaf o'r ddinas gan y Carthaginiaid dan Hannibal Mago. Yn 210 CC, daeth yn rhan o Ymerodraeth Rhufain fel Agrigentum.

Mae Agrigento yn safle archaeolegol bwysig, ac fe'i dynodwyd yn Safle Treftadaeth y Byd gan UNESCO yn 1997.
