Dinas, porthladd a chymuned (comune) yn nwyrain canolbarth yr Eidal yw Ancona, sy'n brifddinas talaith Ancona a rhanbarth Marche. Saif ar y Môr Adriatig, 210 km i'r gogledd-ddwyrain o ddinas Rhufain a 200 km i'r de-ddwyrain o Bologna.

Dinas Roegaidd oedd Ancona yn wreiddiol; fe'i sefydlwyd o Siracusa tua 390 CC. Daw'r enw Ancona o'r Groeg Αγκων, "penelin", o ffurf y penrhyn ger yr harbwr.
