Tref a phlwyf sifil yn Hampshire, De-ddwyrain Lloegr, yw Andover.[1] Fe'i lleolir yn ardal an-fetropolitan Bwrdeistref Test Valley. Saif ar Afon Anton, 19 o filltiroedd (30 km) i'r gorllewin o Basingstoke, 19 o filltiroedd (30 km) i'r gogledd-orllewin o Gaerwynt a 25 o filltiroedd (40 km) i'r gogledd o Southampton. Mae Caerdydd 122 km i ffwrdd o Andover ac mae Llundain yn 101.5 km. Y ddinas agosaf ydy Caerwynt sy'n 20 km i ffwrdd.
Yng Nghyfrifiad 2011 roedd gan y plwyf sifil boblogaeth o 38,290.[2]
