Awdur a chyfreithiwr yw Androw Bennett (ganwyd 19 Mai 1946). Fe'i ganwyd yn Ysbyty Stryd y Priordy, Caerfyrddin er mai yn Llangennech, ger Llanelli oedd cartre'i deulu.

Gyrfa

Cyhoeddodd y nofel Dirmyg Cyfforddus ym 1994. Cydweithiodd ar ddyddiaduron gyda'r cricedwr, Robert Croft (1994) a chapten tim rygbi Cymru, Jonathan Humphreys (1995). Yn 2002, cyhoeddodd gyfrol Saesneg Welsh Rugby Heroes am arwyr rygbi Cymru dros ail hanner yr 20g.

Mae wedi cyfrannu erthyglau i'r wythnosolyn Y Cymro ers 1994 ac, o bryd i'w gilydd, i gylchgrawn Barn. Ers 2005, ef yw prif sylwebydd rygbi Y Cymro ac mae'n cyfrannu erthyglau ar gampau eraill hefyd a bu'n sylwebu ar rygbi'n achlysurol i Radio Ceredigion yn ogystal.
