Y broses fiolegol sy'n creu organebau unigol newydd yw atgenhedlu (Saesneg: reproduction). Mae atgenhedlu yn rhinwedd greiddiol o fywyd; mae pob organeb (hyd y gwyddom) yn ganlyniad i atgenhedlu.
