Llenores Prydeinig oedd Doris May Lessing (née Tayler; 22 Hydref 1919 – 17 Tachwedd 2013)[1] a enillodd Wobr Lenyddol Nobel yn 2007[2] yn 88 oed.

Cafodd ei geni yn Kermanshah, Iran, yn ferch y Sais Capten Alfred Tayler a'i wraig Emily Maude Tayler (née McVeagh). Priododd Frank Wisdom yn 1937 (ysgaru 1943). Priododd y cyfreithiwr Gottfried Lessing yn 1944 (ysgaru 1949).
