Roedd Du Fu (Tsieineeg: 杜甫; pinyin: Dù Fǔ; Wade-Giles: Tu Fu, 712–770) yn fardd Tsieinaidd blaenllaw yn y Brenhinlin Tang. Ynghyd â Li Bai (Li Po), fe'i ystyrir yn aml fel y bardd gorau ymysg beirdd Tsieina.[1] Ei brif uchelgais oedd i wasanaethu ei wlad fel gwas sifil llwyddiannus, ond ni fedrodd wneud hynny. Dinistriwyd ei fywyd, a'r wlad gyfan, gan Wrthryfel An Lushan yn 755, ac roedd 15 mlynedd olaf ei fywyd yn gyfnod o drafferthion a gwrthdaro parhaus.

I ddechrau, nid oedd yn adnabyddus i lenorion eraill, ond daeth ei weithiau yn hynod ddylanwadol yn niwylliant llenyddol Tsieina a Japan. O'i holl weithiau barddonol, cadwyd yn agos i 1,500 o'i gerddi ar hyd y canrifoedd. Mae ef wedi cael ei alw'n Fardd-Hanesyddol gan feirniaid llenyddol Tsieniaidd, tra bod ei ystod o weithiau wedi ei alluogi i gael ei gyflwyno i ddarllenwyr Gorllewinol fel y "Virgil, Horas, Ofydd, Shakespeare, Milton, Burns, Wordsworth, Béranger, Hugo neu'r Baudelaire Tsieniaidd".[2]
