Llenor, bardd ac actifydd o Loegr oedd Edith Nesbit, hefyd E. Nesbit (15 Awst 1858 - 4 Mai 1924), sy'n fwyaf adnabyddus am ei llyfrau plant, gan gynnwys The Railway Children (1906), Five Children and It (1902), a The Phoenix and the Carpet (1904). Roedd hi hefyd yn un o sylfaenwyr Cymdeithas y Ffabiaid, sefydliad sosialaidd a oedd yn anelu at hyrwyddo cyfiawnder cymdeithasol a chydraddoldeb.[1][2][3]

Ganwyd hi yn Llundain yn 1858 a bu farw yn New Romney. Roedd hi'n blentyn i John Collis Nesbit. Priododd hi Hubert Bland.[4][5][6][7]
