Awdures a darlunydd llyfrau plant o Loegr (yn enedigol o'r Almaen) oedd Judith Judith Gertrud Helene Kerr (14 Mehefin 1923 – 22 Mai 2019). Roedd hi'n adnabyddus am ei llyfrau plant darluniadol, yn enwedig Y Teigr a Ddaeth i De a'r gyfres o 17 llyfr am y gath Mog. Ysgfrifenodd hefyd nofelau i blant hŷn fel When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit.

Fe'i ganwyd i deulu Iddewig ym Merlin yn ystod cyfnod Gweriniaeth Weimar. Fe wnaeth y teulu ffoi o'r Almaen ym 1933, pan ddaeth y Natsïaid i rym. Yn 1936 cyrhaeddon nhw Lundain, lle roedd Judith Kerr i fyw am weddill ei bywyd.
