Actor a chyfarwyddwr theatr, ffilm a theledu o Gymru oedd Keith Stanley Baxter-Wright (29 Ebrill 1933 – 24 Medi 2023), yn fwyaf adnabyddus fel Keith Baxter.[1]

Cafodd Baxter ei eni yng Nghasnewydd, Sir Fynwy, yn fab i Stanley Baxter-Wright, capten môr y Llynges Fasnachol, a'i wraig Emily Baxter (née Howell). [2] Buont yn byw am gyfnod yn Romilly Road, y Barri, Morgannwg . Addysgwyd Baxter yn Ysgol Uwchradd Casnewydd ac Ysgol Ramadeg y Barri. Astudiodd yn Academi Frenhinol Celfyddydau Dramatig , Llundain, lle daeth yn ffrind ei chyd-ddisgybl, Alan Bates.[1]

Ym 1965, chwaraeodd Baxter Tywysog Hal mewn ffilm Chimes at Midnight, gan Orson Welles. Mae credydau ffilm ychwanegol yn cynnwys Ash Wednesday (1973; gydag Elizabeth Taylor ), Golden Rendezvous (1977), a Killing Time (1998).
