Dinas a phorthladd yn Japan yw Kobe (Japaneg:神戸市 Kōbe-shi). Kobe yw prifddinas talaith Hyōgo yng ngorllewin ynys Honshũ, ynys fwyaf Japan ac mae ganddi boblogaeth o tua 1.5 miliwn. Saif y ddinas ar droed Mynydd Rokko tra'n edrych allan ar Fae Osaka. Ynghyd â dinasoedd Kyoto ac Osaka mae Kobe yn cyfuno i greu ardal ddinesig Keihanshin.
Mae Kobe yn un o ddinasoedd enwocaf Japan am iddi ddioddef Daeargryn Fawr Hanshin ar 17 Ionawr 1995 lle lladdwyd 6,400 o bobl. Hon oedd daeargryn fwyaf Japan ers Daeargryn Fawr Kantō ym 1923, a laddwyd tua 140,000 o bobl.
