Bardd o'r Unol Daleithiau yw Marc Smith (g. 1949). Fe'i ganwyd yn Chicago, Illinois, yn 1949. Mynychodd Ysgol Charles P. Caldwell ac wedyn Ysgol James H. Bowen High School. Mae o wedi ysgrifennu barddoniaeth ers oedd yn 19 oed. Ystyria ei hyn yn sosialydd.
