Dinas a chymuned (comune) yng ngogledd-orllewin yr Eidal yw Novara, sy'n brifddinas talaith Novara yn rhanbarth Piemonte. Mae'n groesffordd bwysig i draffig masnachol ar hyd y llwybrau o Milan i Torino ac o Genova i'r Swistir. Fe'i lleolir rhwng Afon Agogna ac Afon Terdoppio yng ngogledd-ddwyrain Piemonte, tua 31 milltir (50 km) o Milan a 59 milltir (95 km) o Torino.
