Propaganda
Cyhoeddusrwydd neu wybodaeth ddethol a ledaenir er mwyn hyrwyddo achos neu bolisi (gwleidyddol, crefyddol a.y.y.b.) yw propaganda.
Fe all propaganda fod yn gelwydd noeth, ond yn amlach mae'n ddetholiad neilltuol o'r ffeithiau. Trwy bwysleisio agweddau positif neu negyddol gellir dyrchafu neu bardduo polisi, llywodraeth, neu achos.
Mae propaganda yn gallu defnyddio sawl cyfrwng, e.e. mewn print fel llyfr, pamffled neu erthygl papur newydd, ffilm sy'n honni fod yn hanesyddol gywir, ffilm ddogfen unochrog, posteri a.y.y.b.
