Actor o Loegr oedd Syr Roger George Moore KBE (14 Hydref 1927 – 23 Mai 2017).[1] Roedd yn adnabyddus am chwarae rhannau dau arwr anturiaethus Prydeinig, Simon Templar yn y gyfres deledu The Saint o 1962 tan 1969, a James Bond mewn saith ffilm wahanol rhwng 1973 a 1985. Ers 1991, bu Moore yn lys-gennad i UNICEF. Ef gafodd y fraint o fod y gwestai olaf i ymddangos ar The Muppet Show pan ddarlledwyd y rhaglen am y tro olaf ym 1981.

Bu farw ym Mai 2017 wedi dioddef o gancr am gyfnod byr.[2][3]

Priododd y cantores Cymreig Dorothy Squires, fel ei ail wraig, ym 1953, ond parhaodd y briodas tan 1961; ysgarodd ym 1969. Gwraig gyntaf Moore oedd Doorn Van Steyn (priododd 1946; ysgarodd 1953). Priododd Luisa Mattioli ym 1969; ysgarodd 1996. Priododd Kristina "Kiki" Tholstrup yn 2002.
