Actor o Seland Newydd oedd Nigel John Dermot "Sam" Neill, DCNZM, OBE (14 Medi 1947 – 13 Gorffennaf 2026).

Fe'i ganwyd yn Omagh, Gogledd Iwerddon, yn fab i'r milwr Dermot Neill a'i wraig Priscilla (née Ingham). Symudodd y teulu i Seland Newydd ym 1954. Felly roedd ganddo dair cenedligrwydd.[1][2]

Ysgrifennodd gofiant, Did I Ever Tell You This?, yn 2023.[3] Bu farw yn 78 mlwydd oed.[4]
