Pêl-droediwr o Gymro oedd Stuart Grenville Williams (9 Gorffennaf 1930 – 5 Tachwedd 2013)[1] a chwaraeodd i Wrecsam, Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, a thîm cenedlaethol Cymru.

Ganwyd Williams yn Wrecsam a mynychodd Ysgol Acton Park cyn symud i Ysgol Ramadeg Grove Park, a gynrychiolodd mewn pêl-droed. Chwaraeodd bêl-droed hefyd i Glwb Ieuenctid Victoria tra roedd yn gweithio i gwmni yswiriant. Ymunodd â Wrecsam (lle'r oedd ei dad yn gyfarwyddwr) fel amatur yn Awst 1949, gan wneud pum ymddangosiad yn y gynghrair cyn cael ei lofnodi gan West Bromwich Albion yn Nhachwedd 1950.[2]
