Roedd Syr Tasker Watkins VC GBE (18 Tachwedd 1918 – 9 Medi 2007)[1] yn un o farnwyr mwyaf amlwg y Deyrnas Unedig. Bu hefyd yn Lywydd Undeb Rygbi Cymru o 1993 tan 2004 cyfnod anodd pan newidiodd y gêm o fod yn gêm amaturaidd i fod yn broffesiynol. Cafodd ei eni yn Nelson, a chafodd ei addysg yn Ysgol Ramadeg y Bechgyn Pontypridd. Gwasanaethodd gyfa anrhydedd yn y fyddin adeg yr Ail Ryfel Byd gan ennill Croes Victoria am ei ddewrder.

Ym 1969 Watkins oedd y prif erlynydd yn yr achos yn erbyn aelodau Byddin Rhyddid Cymru (FWA) [2]

Yn dilyn cwymp yn ei gartref yn Llandaf yn Awst 2007 aed ag ef i Ysbyty Prifysgol Cymru, Caerdydd, a bu farw yno ar 9 Medi 2007.
